Not every tired carpet needs replacing. If the pile is worn flat in the traffic lanes, the backing is coming apart, or the smell will not wash out, new carpet is the answer. If it just ripples and buckles, you may only need carpet stretching, which costs a fraction of a new floor. We will tell you which one you are looking at, even when the cheaper answer is the honest one.
Age matters less than condition. We look at the backing, the seams, the edges at the tack strip, and how much twist is left in the yarn.

Every piece in a room has to run with the pile in the same direction or the two halves will read as different colors. Closets, bay windows, and hallways force cuts.
